Sue,

Your post rings true for most people. Half of the battle is hearing God's call and the other half is how do we respond. This seems like a very good place to start Monday's meeting. We will discuss how we respond to God's call.

Anyone want to share how their scheduled GOD time is going? Have you been working on giving your stress over to God?

Remember Monday, 3/22 at 6:30 PM in the parlor. Anyone can meet with us so invite someone to the meeting. See you there.

  1. How am I doing with scheduled God time? ...fed daily as long as I give up a little of my agenda to enjoy God's agenda.

Am I working at giving my stress over to God? That is a process for me--especially in terms of fear. I'm not always obedient. As I shared on 3/22, ignoring God's invitation by the pastors at Sunday evening worship for the gift of healing prayer was a good example of how I don't accept God's gift. Whether God chose to heal me physically isn't the issue, He has given us the gift of people to pray specifically for us. Thankfully, that wasn't my only opportunity. Later, I did ask my faithful prayer partner to pray that God would take away one of my main concerns--fear that I won't be healthy enough for the part time position He is providing for me. Like Moses, I need to be reminded that God will be with me--Ex. 3:12. Today, I didn't cough when I needed to sing as part of my interview. God is faithful. He's teaching me how to be.
